Cathy L Mays

Whether she is wearing scrubs in the recovery room or a business suit in the board room, Cathy brings a unique and diverse background to CMAG & Associates. As an administrator in acute care hospital settings, manager of Long Term Care facilities, as well as working with local and federal government, Cathy’s expertise is a value to any organization. She has successfully lead organizations through Joint Commission and CARF surveys, and Long Term Care reviews.

In addition to her years as a Healthcare Administrator, Cathy pursued a Masters in Public Administration as a National Urban Fellow which enhanced her knowledge of business management and healthcare policy. Cathy has also worked as Special Assistant to the Mayor and City Administrator of Niagara Falls, and with organizations to develop healthcare initiatives and community programs.

With nearly twenty years in the human services field, Angela has developed a passion for research, evaluation, and leadership development. This has been realized through her work in both non-profit and government agencies. By supporting the work of multiple organizations coupled with a drive to make a difference in the community, Angela’s skills in data analysis, familiarity with child welfare, understanding of benefits allocation and the respective state systems, is a formula for business success.

As a manager, Angela believes that it is important to develop a culture of accountability, strength based management, and fiscal responsibility. With over ten years of administrative management experience and an academic background as a National Urban Fellow, Angela earned a Masters degree in Public Administration building a strong foundation in non-profit management, budgeting, research and succession planning.
